Priority 2: Strategic Transformation in Pasture-Based Small Ruminant Farming

The net economic added value that the Pasture-Based Sheep Complex project will generate goes beyond a simple profit-loss calculation; it is a story of regional capital accumulation and national-scale production efficiency. The most tangible and initial link in this added value is the radical reduction of feed costs, which are the largest cost item in livestock farming and are heavily reliant on imported feed.
